I’m currently a home based baker with 3 children age 12, 11 & 4.
Tell us more about your business, and who are your target audience?
A homebased bakery where cakes were being delivered or self collected at our doorstep.
What inspire you to bake and start a baking business?
My mother. She used to make hand made Puteri Salat for their own factory production.
What are some of the struggles you face while running a baking business?
My husband and I use to have a cafe in 2012 but things wasn’t going the way we wanted it to be. We had to closed it and go back to baking at home.
What are some negative things people say about your business, and how did you overcome that?
I do not entertain negativity.
What are your baking speciality?
Ondeh ondeh cake, Tapak Kuda Nutella, Tapak Kuda Ondeh Ondeh, Takoyaki and Brownie
What is your advice to other bakers out there when starting their own business?
Focus on your speciality. It’s ok to fail. Don’t give up and move to your dream.
